Danny Morgan stared at himself in the mirror, going to a costume party wasn't his idea of a good time. If his brother hadn't ditched Charlotte at the last minute, Danny wouldn't even be doing this. Danny wasn't going to leave Charlotte hanging, he had a few choice words for Jake. Danny took a deep breath as he walked out of his bedroom, it was time to face the music. Charlotte was already waiting for Danny downstairs, dressed in a long black dress that hugged her curves in all the right places. Charlotte was going as Morticia Addams from the Addams family, leaving Danny as Gomez Addams.

"Look who's finally ready, you look great!" Charlotte's lips curved into a smirk.

"I want you to know that I'm only doing this for you. I hate costumes." Danny grabs her hand in his.

"I know you do, thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone for me." Charlotte squeezed his hand.

"I'd do anything for you, you're one of my best friends. I'm ready to kick Jake's ass for ditching you but, we're not going to talk about that. Are you ready to go?" Danny mustered up a small smile.

"Yeah, I'm ready. Let's do this." Charlotte and Danny left the penthouse and headed over to The West Household. Every year Maxie and Nathan hosted a big Halloween party, Danny liked to think that it was Nathan's birthday gift to Maxie since her birthday was on Halloween. Danny and Charlotte walked into the house, Maxie and Nathan were standing in the living room greeting everyone.

"Aww, don't you two look adorable? Danny? Where's Jake?" Maxie gushed over their costumes but, as always she was curious.

"My brother ditched Charlotte at the last minute, I couldn't let Charlotte come alone." Danny cleared his throat.

"Jake knows that we do this every year, I'm going to kill him. I really am." Maxie scoffed.

"It's okay Aunt Maxie, at least I'm not here alone. I can deal with Jake, later." Charlotte managed a smile.

'georgie and Rocco are over there, they've been waiting for you.' Nathan smiled, knowing they wanted to get away from this conversation. Charlotte and Danny went over to the corner that Georgie and Rocco were standing in. Georgie was dressed as Alice in wonderland and, Rocco was dressed as the Rabbit from Alice in wonderland.

"I think Rocco stole the show." Charlotte laughed, hugging her brother.

"You know, he always does! Where's Jake?" Georgie instantly knew something was wrong.

"Jake ditched me, there's probably another girl. I don't know." Fresh tears shine in her blue eyes.

"I'm so sorry." Georgie wanted to tear Jake apart with her bare hands but, she settled for pulling Charlotte into a hug.

"Danny, thank you for being here. You know, it hurts me that my big sister is upset. I actually want to kill Jake. All that aside, it means a lot that you're willing to do this for Charlotte." Rocco pulled Danny aside.

"I feel guilty because Jake is my brother, I don't think I've ever been this mad. Charlotte deserves better. Jake isn't mature, I wish he'd grow up and realize he's got a good one." Danny shakes his head.

"Danny, this isn't on you. You aren't responsible for Jake being an asshole, that's on him. You're right though, my sister deserves better." Rocco nods.

"I'll always be there for Charlotte, even if she doesn't want me to be." Danny promised Rocco.
