"Emma wait." Spencer Cassadine ran after her as Emma Drake hightails it to her car.

 

"What do you want, Spencer? I have to get going, I have classes in the morning. I have to be on my flight in twenty minutes." Emma rolled her eyes, unlocking her rental car.

 

"Em, don't you get it? I'm in love with you. Why can't you just stay here with me?" Spencer sighed, helplessly.

 

"No Spencer, you are in love with the idea of me. You always have been. I have a life in Sun City, a good one. I can't just throw all of that away because you think you're in love with me. Trina loves you, why don't you go back to her? That's where you belong." Emma wanted to turn around and take everything back but, she couldn't do that. Emma couldn't throw away everything that she'd built in Arizona, not for anyone.

 

"Emma, I've been in love with you since we were kids. I know that I love you." Spencer argued.

 

"Spencer, I have to go." Emma quickly got into her rental car and drove off, leaving Spencer to wonder if he'd ever see her again.
