"When are you going to realize that girl loves you?" An eight month pregnant Lulu Spencer waddled into the living room of the penthouse, directing her comment at her brother.

 

"What are you talking about? I'm married! Is this another one of your hormone things?" Ethan cocked an eyebrow, as soon as the words left Ethan's mouth, Johnny earnestly shook his head at Ethan.

 

"Hormone things? So, just because I'm pregnant that means I don't get to have an opinion? Is this what your saying? Because if it is, that is completely fucked up. Just so you know, Kristina looks at you like you hung the stars. You aren't ever going to get that with Maya, sometimes you don't even exist to her. Why don't you grow a pair for once in your life?" Lulu snapped at her brother, a little hurt. Before Ethan could respond she grabbed her water bottle off the coffee table and went into Johnny's bedroom.

 

"That was a bad move, you really hurt your sister's feelings. Lovett, she's only got one more month to go. Why did you have to do that? I know how she's been acting but she's growing a tiny human inside her body, so I overlook it. Lulu's right, there's something between you and Kristina. You drunkenly married Maya in Vegas, that's it. Now, I have to go out and buy something to make Lulu feel better." Johnny rose from his seat, grabbing his jacket and walking out.

 

"They are crazy, there's nothing going on with me and Kristina. Is there? Could two people really be wrong about the same thing? Aw hell, they're right!"Ethan groaned, this wasn't good! Nevertheless, Ethan pulled out his phone and told Kristina to meet him at Kelly's. Arriving at his family's diner, he found Kristina already waiting at a table.

 

"You like me." Shot out of Ethan's mouth, the words felt foreign on his lips. Women didn't like him, women wanted to fuck him! This was crazy, unlike anything he'd ever experienced.

 

"I believe we've covered that, yeah. Why else would I try to kiss you? Why else would I ask you to be my date to dad and Brenda's wedding? I like you Ethan Lovett, deal with it." Kristina hardly bats an eye to his words, she says each word matter of factly.

 

"Kristina, you're going off to college in the fall. I'm not letting you give up Yale for me, I'm married. I've gotta figure some shit out before I can even think about if there could be an us." Ethan was completely honest, though he really wanted to be with her right now.

 

"I respect that you were honest with me, Ethan. Honestly, I don't think I should be in a relationship right now either. I'm still young and figuring life out. I'll go off to college in September and we can keep in touch, figure out if this is really something we want. Deal?" Kristina arched one perfect eyebrow.

 

"That is very grown up and mature, you've got yourself a deal." Ethan knew that things wouldn't last with Maya but, Kristina deserved to find herself and she couldn't do that in Port Charles. Ethan understood that, he'd probably be foolish enough to wait forever.
